Dr. Joshy K J is a prominent figure in the field of Economics. He holds dual masters degrees in Economics and Management, and a PhD in Economics, specializing in economic growth and international trade. Currently, he is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics at Bangalore Central Campus. His research focuses on Macroeconomics, Development Economics, and international trade. He has led two major projects, one analyzing resource flow in the education sector and another addressing welfare needs of human trafficking survivors. His work has been published in respected journals, including a recent article on the economic effects of COVID-19. Dr. Joshy collaborates actively with global institutions like the University of Cincinnati and Virginia Commonwealth University. He serves as a subject expert in Macroeconomics for academic boards in Bangalore. He co-authored a book titled Top Seven: An Economic History of Growth and Recessions, published by New Age Trade Publications. Beyond academics, Dr. Joshy writes anthologies in English and Malayalam. His dedication to teaching, research, and writing has earned him respect in academic circles.
